Your Winter Boxes

For all you 2nd Street Community Gardeners, it has not been a great season for over wintering.  I didn't get it together in the Fall to keep things moving along all winter, but I notice there are some attempts in other boxes.  Yay! to those who persevered.

For those who are not doing winter crops, January is the time to start thinking about cleaning out your box for the spring, especially if you're giving it up for the next season.  We will be reassigning boxes in the spring and I will be posting those dates the closer we get.  You must contact Karen at Food Share, or myself (997-2997) if you want to keep your box for the next season.  Otherwise it will be given away.  But you still have time to think about it.  Check the archives for Garden Guidelines (posted last summer) for  reassignment dates.
